About the role
This role focuses on Application support for Sales team working on large-scale, nonstandard projects in Data centres & other verticals.
Provide competitive, technically sound,
and cost-effective solutions to customers for both verticals.
He/She will serve as the technical bridge between customers, sales, and design teams to deliver
tailored solutions that meet customer requirements and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities (Condensed):
Provide technical support for Data Center and other projects, ensuring Carrier solutions meet performance and compliance standards.Lead technical aspects of large-scale and non-standard projects, including equipment selection and documentation.Collaborate with Sales teams to align solutions with budgets and timelines.Review specifications and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and competitor offerings.Participate in RFPs and ensure timely, accurate responses to enquiries and quotations using CRM & SAP.Maintain consistent follow-up with customers and internal teams to support project progress.Conduct technical discussions, training sessions, and support consultant engineers with design and compliance.Ensure smooth communication across Sales, Applications, and Engineering teams.Promote Carrier products through technical meetings, site visits, and relationship building.Use selection tools/software to propose energy-efficient solutions aligned with regulations.Share updates on Carrier products, tools, and software with the Sales team.Attend training sessions and contribute to team resources and knowledge sharing.Prioritize job-in-hand projects and complete monthly reports to meet KPIs.Respond promptly to consultant feedback and stay informed on local/international standards like EUROVENT, AHRI, LEED, SASO, etcReport issues and regulatory updates to management and factories.Report turn backs and escapes regularly.Requirements
We are looking for people who are as a minimum you must have:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering and/or related HVAC field.LEED accreditation is an additional advantage.Minimum 6 to 8 years’ experience and have full understanding of HVAC and Applied equipment like Chillers, AHUS, FCUS, CDUs etc design concepts.Benefits
