Job Description

**What is the job about?**

The primary responsibility for this role is to drive sales within a designated geographical area.

The Sales Engineer is responsible for developing new sales opportunities as well as maintaining recurring business with existing customers.

The sales engineer must be aware of development in the market and at the customers and the knowledge must be shared within the team and across PU’s to strengthen the Grundfos Business result and market share.
The incumbent will be part of a team of roles with an ambition of driving sales and developing in the role.

**Main responsibilities:**

• Independently develop and grow sales within own area of responsibility.
• Develop market knowledge to successfully drive commercial activities.
• Develop knowledge in the market on Grundfos solutions – explaining the benefit for the different customer groups within the customers organization.
• Identify different stakeholders (decision makers) and utilize the right approach to drive sales.
• Ensure quality opportunity pipeline and strong hit rate.
• Introduce new product and solutions to the customers.
• Monitor and report on pipeline, order intake, sales, profitability and drive debt collections within own area.
• Ensure knowledge sharing with the team and take responsibility for own competence development.
• Participate and drive trainings for customers and potential new customers to drive awareness of Grundfos offerings.
• Review substantial quotations and project bids.
• Ensure customer data is up to date.
• Keep customer satisfaction at the right level to create customer loyalty.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure we are perceived as highly customer Centric and collaborative ensuring one Company Culture.
• Other tasks or project as and when required.

**Your Background:**

+ Min.

a bachelor’s in engineering combined with at least 0 - 2 years of relevant experience from a large international company working in a similar role.
+ Experience from Grundfos working in a sales role with relevant responsibilities
+ Proactive to work on Sales Development activities within the region.
+ Excellent in English
+ Frequent travel within the role must be expected
