**Job Description:**
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Commercial and Contracts Director** to join our team! In this role you will get to manage all commercial activity for a Division, a major market segment, or for a major project.
Travel to the client's offices or the project site may be required, either before the contract receives final approval or during the life of the contract.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Establish robust procurement strategies for Major Works within a challenging time frame using different methodologies.
+ Review and prepare invitations to tender for Major Works including specialist disciplines.
+ Review Tender submissions and assist in the evaluation of the same for recommendation to the Employer
+ Assist in negotiations to facilitate the placing of Major Contracts.
+ Negotiate and clarify contractual requirements in meetings with consultants and contractors.
+ Manage a team of both pre and post contract commercial staff.
+ Oversee Risk assessment, Procurement strategy, Contract Administration, Claims Management.
+ Tender analysis & evaluation.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Bachelor’s in engineering, quantity surveying, or cost engineering from an accredited university.
+ Must be certified in Contracts/commercial with Chartered Membership in the Royal Institution of Quantity Surveyors (MRICS), Project Management Professional, PMI-PMP/ RMP.
+ Minimum 25 years’ experience in contracts and commercial management including overall responsibility for contract/commercial management on large-scale projects.
+ Direct experience of managing workload distribution, execution of work and personnel management, pre- qualification, compilation of bid requests, receipt of bids, bid evaluation, award, monitoring contractor performance, back charges, resolution of claims and disputes.
Technical and administrative knowledge of engineering/ construction industry contracting practices, government and commercial procurement regulations and practices, policies, procedures, and work practices.
+ Practical experience and expertise in FIDIC contracts, Red/Yellow/Silver.
+ Demonstrated experience in pricing, contract law, contract drafting, administration and negotiation of change orders, effective correspondence, planning and scheduling.
+ Thorough knowledge of prime contracts management administration as well as (sub) contract formation and administration, execution office and field procedures and documents relating to a multi-discipline construction project.
+ Must have led large Contracts working with top firms an on prestigious projects.
+ Knowledge of precedents in the specialty area and knowledge of principles and practices of related international contracting law as well, execution office and field procedures and documents relating to a multi-discipline construction project
+ Excellent Arabic / English verbal and written communication skills required.
+ Computer software skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
**What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**
+ The candidate shall demonstrate evidence of working on similar projects/mega projects with international PMC firms.
+ Experience of working internationally (preference for KSA).
