Job Summary
Our client, a prominent master developer in the hospitality and leisure sector, is seeking a highly experienced and meticulous Finance Controller to oversee all aspects of the company's financial operations.
This is a strategic, mid-level position that reports directly to the Finance Manager and requires a strong understanding of financial analysis, regulatory compliance, and team leadership.
The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain robust internal controls, and provide strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of accounting standards: Strong, practical knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and practices, with in-depth knowledge of IFRS and GAAP.
- Relevant Expertise: Proven ability to supervise and manage a team of accounting professionals.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in enterprise accounting software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Infor Sun Accounting) and financial modeling tools for forecasting and analysis.
- Compliance: Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Core Competencies: Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Preferred Qualification: Understanding of USALI 11th edition.
Key Responsibilities
The Finance Controller will be responsible for the financial supervision, reporting, budgeting, and compliance functions:
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate and timely internal and external financial statements.
Conduct financial analysis, interpret results, and provide actionable insights and reports to management and stakeholders. - Financial Supervision: Oversee all general ledger (GL) functions, as well as Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Fixed Assets (FA), and Collections departments.
- Month-End Close: Manage and oversee the monthly closing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage the annual budget and periodic financial forecasts.
Monitor budget utilization and analyze variances to provide strategic guidance. - Internal Controls & Audit: Maintain and enforce effective internal control frameworks and best practices.
Ensure strict compliance with all company policies and accounting standards. - Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the accounting team, fostering an environment of adherence to high ethical standards and integrity.
Compensation Package:
- Approximately SAR 13,000 to SAR 18,000 SAR.

This full-time role offers a professional and collaborative work environment and is typically scheduled Sunday through Thursday.
