As an HR Business Partner at Haleon, you will play a pivotal role in driving our talent and capability strategies, ensuring alignment with our business goals and mission.

You will partner with leaders across the organization to enhance our employer brand, develop talent, and foster a high-performance culture.

Your expertise in organizational effectiveness, engagement, and people strategy will be crucial in supporting our global business objectives.

Specifically, as Head of HR for the Saudi Arabia Business and a member of the KSA Leadership Team, you’ll be accountable for supporting our business leaders to deliver the people strategy across the whole organisation (commercial, supply chain, functions) and enable key business priorities.

As Head of HR, you will work with leaders to unleash the potential of our people, attract and retain diverse talent, drive organisational effectiveness, and create an inclusive and high performing culture.

You will be responsible for working across all HR Centres of Expertise to deliver high quality HR Operations for your markets.

Putting all this together, the role will enable the growth and performance of our business, delivering on our purpose of Everyday Health with Humanity.

Beyond KSA, you will also be responsible for leading the MEA Health & Wellbeing Plan for the Business Unit with an aim to equip employees across MEA with the knowledge, programs, systems and connections that help them feel empowered to thrive.

Own the holistic program to deliver Physical, Emotional and Purposeful Health to all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent & Capability:

  • Ensure high-quality talent acquisition by staffing roles with high-potential external talent.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition (TA) Teams to enhance employer branding and support early career recruitment through campus events and outreach strategies.
  • Drive proactive talent management by partnering with business leaders to identify, develop, and retain key talent.
  • Lead talent and succession planning sessions, using potential and readiness mapping to identify successors for critical roles.
  • Oversee assignment planning and internal mobility, ensuring visibility and mobility of diverse talent across the organization.
  • Guide leaders in creating personalized development plans aligned with capability needs and career aspirations.
  • Own leadership development for market/site leadership teams and potential successors, ensuring coaching and mentoring support.
  • Monitor talent data, movement, and diversity metrics to inform planning and drive accountability.
  • Drive capability development by aligning talent strategies with business goals and implementing targeted training programs.
  • Performance Management:

  • Partner with leaders to drive a high-performance culture through effective goal setting, feedback, and performance review practices.
  • Support performance management and change initiatives to foster a culture of continuous learning.
  • Organisation Effectiveness:

  • Lead or support business transformation efforts, drive organizational redesign, and embed change management practices to improve agility and effectiveness.

    Proactively identify and manage changes in people and business processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement by applying change managements tools and techniques to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
  • Serve as a coach and thought partner to business leaders, enhancing leadership impact and organizational health.
  • Engagement:

  • Act as a culture steward by leading engagement initiatives, interpreting feedback, and championing company values and behaviours.
  • Ensure employee engagement is a broadly owned priority by the LT and People Managers at all levels are accountable for “team engagement”.
  • Rewards:

  • Apply business acumen and sound judgement within the context of the reward strategy to develop and deliver plans which enable the delivery of the business priorities.
  • Use insight from external trends and internal data (i.e. Workday) to construct and support business case development.
  • Ensure compensation strategies support the attraction and retention of a high performing, diverse workforce and enable the business’ broader workforce plan.
  • Coach and influence senior leaders to differentiate and reward individuals commensurate with their value and contributions to the business.
  • People Strategy in Action:

  • Align workforce capabilities with business strategy, forecast future talent needs, and design organizational structures.
  • Champion the link between strong Health & Wellbeing practices and a high performing organization.

    Implement necessary interventions to ensure this priority is well understood and practiced.
  • Manage employee relations cases, ensure compliance with labour laws, and advise managers on people risks.
  • Partner with business and DEI teams to create inclusive environments and improve representation and belonging.
  • Leverage data to provide insights into workforce trends and support evidence-based decisions.
  • One HR & HR Operations:

  • Act as a connector between business needs and HR solutions, working with Centres of Excellence (CoEs) to implement initiatives.
  • Partner with HR Operations to ensure seamless employee lifecycle management and oversee Workday-related transactions.
  • Partner with Global Mobility to manage the employment strategy for Dubai with clear governance and consistent principles.
  • Maintain data accuracy and compliance, using Workday for reporting and insight generation.
  • Skills & Experience Needed:

    We are looking for an experienced HR Leader with End-to-end HR experience and a proven track record of building and delivering an HR agenda that fuels business performance and organisation development.

    Below experiences and skills required:

    Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related combination of education & experience providing the required knowledge, skills & abilities.

    10+ years of HR experience, with at least 2-3 in a senior HR Leadership role.

    Prior experienced of factory operations alongside commercial operations will be advantageous.

    Previous experience in multinational companies in a matrix organisational structure Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.

    Analytical skills for workforce analytics and deriving insights from data.

    Expertise in organizational design and talent frameworks.

    Facilitation skills for talent reviews and team effectiveness sessions.

    Experience in managing assignment changes and supporting restructures.

    Stakeholder management and coaching capabilities.

    Knowledge of OD principles, change models, and DEI frameworks.

    Project and program management skills.

    Proficiency in HR systems and tools like Workday, Excel, Power BI, and Tableau.

    Strong communication and listening skills.

    Understanding of employment legislation and risk awareness.

    Experience in leadership development and building inclusive cultures.
