- Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Include the following, while other duties may be assigned thereafter:
- To check whether the consignment information is complete in order to prevent issues.
- Check whether the shipment documentation contains all the information required.
- Report any lacking or inaccurate data to the Logistics Supervisor.
- Log in undeliverable or un-spendable shipments in a register and investigate problem shipments.
- Complete relevant documentation accurately.
- Act on export documentation check process; confirm shipments on the system.
- To input all shipments and relevant information in the appropriate system, accurately and in a timely manner, completely in line with company policies, procedures and relevant operational standards.
- Ensure all necessary validation checks are performed to ensure 100% data quality.
- Key in the system all the shipment and piece information.
- Receive shipments.
- Comply paperwork according to procedures and have awareness of restricted goods.
- Identify ongoing service issues and recommend solutions to the Logistics Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Qualifications & Experience (Competencies Required)
- Educational Credentials
- Bachelor Degree or high Diploma in Supply Chain or other related field.
- Work Experience
- 2 years of relevant Logistics experience.
- OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in a data entry environment.
- Working in line with warehouse shift-hours to review out-of-hours operations.
- PC skills: Demonstrates familiarity and ease with use of PC equipment and software.
- Typing skills: Demonstrates accuracy and speed with the input of data.
