Established Service Engineering professional.
Develops diverse product knowledge, maintains effective communication with field team members, performs diagnostic procedures, conducts analysis and interprets test information to resolve design/system related issues.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Project Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:
Project Management & ExecutionLead HVAC modernization projects from kickoff through commissioning and handover.Own project delivery and schedulingDevelop detailed project execution plans, schedules, and resource plans.Coordinate with clients, consultants, OSLs, and internal teams to align project milestones.Monitor project progress, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.Oversee material delivery, site readiness, and mobilization of contractors.Technical Oversight & EngineeringReview and approve technical documents including method statements, shop drawings, and control schematics.Provide expert guidance on HVAC system upgrades, component replacements (AHUs, FCUs, chillers), and BMS integrations.Ensure compliance with local codes, Carrier specifications, and client standards.Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for system malfunctions or installation issues.Team & Contractor SupervisionDirect and manage on-site activities of OSLs and Carrier field technicians.Ensure proper installation practices, safety protocols, and workmanship quality.Conduct toolbox talks, daily briefings, and technical mentoring for junior staff.Coordinate inspections, testing, and commissioning with third-party agencies and clients.Compliance & ReportingEnforce Carrier’s EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards and ensure zero unsafe practices.Maintain project documentation including daily site reports, progress trackers, and commissioning logs.Escalate delays, risks, or technical deviations with proposed corrective actions.Continuous ImprovementContribute to the development of standardized work processes, checklists, and templates.Support the evaluation and onboarding of OSLs based on field performance and compliance.Requirements
