Role Summary:
The Technical Sales Engineer will focus predominantly on selling mechanical products, dedicating the majority of their time to sales-related activities such as client engagement, product promotion, and closing deals.
In addition, the role includes occasional involvement in automation projects, providing support from initiation through testing and commissioning as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Mechanical Sales (Primary Focus)
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities for mechanical products including pumps, valves, water heaters, and related systems.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions to promote product offerings.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and develop new accounts.
Automation Project Support (As Needed)
- Participate in automation project follow-ups when initiated.
- Support the full lifecycle of automation projects, from initiation through testing and commissioning.
- Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to ensure successful execution and client satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with automation systems and project workflows.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Arabic & English is required.
- Willingness to travel to project sites or attend meetings as needed.
