Job description
A Technical System Application Engineer (focus on E2E) is responsible for analysis, implementation, configuration and testing of (customer-specific) applications for existing hardware and software products.
This may include documenting, training and customer facing technical support as part of the project deliverables or presales sale cycles.
A TSAE can also be involved in early prototype testing or Proof Of Concept delivery.
+ To analyse specifications for solution development
+ To define and develop the solution architecture, specifically also on detailed technical level
+ To add software elements to the existing software according to the solution that has to be developed
+ To define detailed data semantics, structure, access and communication standards taking into account the applied hardware and required functionality and performance requirements.
(Technical Design)
+ To select and describe the algorithms for data processing
+ To define how the product has to be implemented
+ To define detailed tasks for 3 rd party contractors when required (through Jira/Installation guides…)
+ To analyse any customer specifications when closely aligned with defined products or solutions.
+ To define and describe the parameterisation and the elements needed to implement the parameterisation, both for HW as for SW
+ To program the solution
+ To coordinate & track (scheduling/testing/quality) specific development activities performed by 3 rd parties.
+ To implement and configure the solution
+ To test the solution taking into account the interaction with other elements, for own products as well as for customer-specific situations
+ In certain cases the tests can be conducted at the customers’ location
+ To document the developed/installed solution, make it accessible for colleagues in case of maintenance and possibly use it as standard within the development group
+ To create customer/solution specific documentation for training and other operational tasks
+ To support the provisioning of customer/3 rd party training services.
+ To provide customer support during nursing period.
+ Actively involved in migration activities and initial system load activities.
+ Sound oral and written knowledge of one foreign language
+ Knowledge of software and general programming languages
+ Sound knowledge of standard software (MS Office)
+ Customer-centric, able to listen, understand needs and translate into technology/solutions to deliver value to customers
+ Knowledge of SW, programming languages (SW Appl.), architecture
+ Bachelor in Electronics or IT
