Job purpose:
Preparing, developing and implementing high-quality educational and training programs, courses and activities in line with the section mission, objectives and values.
Key responsibilities:
seeks to deliver high-quality educational and training services while keeping pace with developments and updates in the field of specialization to serve the educational process.Develops curricular and extracurricular activities to consolidate and enhance learning outcomes, values, and attributes, and diversifies and applies appropriate methods for assessing outcomes.Assists in preparing curricula, program plans and related procedures, develops proposals for continuous improvement and contributes to the design of scientific material for special courses and programs.Supervises students in completing graduation projects, guides and evaluates students participating in cooperative training programs, and provides academic guidance to students and trainees.Participates in applied research projects and community service initiatives.Adheres to systems and policies, contributes to their implementation, complies with quality and continuous improvement standards, and works to create a suitable environment for such practices.Contributes to the preparation and implementation of the department’s operational plan.Participates in the work of committees and activities at the section, industrial college and division levels when requested and as needed.Delivering necessary and essential information to fellow students, trainees and managers.Evaluate students and trainees periodically in a fair, transparent and objective manner and suggest appropriate development methods for them.Promotes and encourages communication among students, trainees, and colleagues.Consider organizational structure, systems and policies when communicatingDealing directly with difficult situations that students are exposed to with wisdom and deliberation, and consulting with student and trainee affairs, while ensuring respect for the individual.Classroom management to create a learning environment that encourages creativity and development.Direct coordination with colleagues to ensure consistency in the educational process and the quality of shared programs and courses.Commitment and contribution to strengthening all approved quality management and assurance mechanisms.Commitment to continuous professional development mechanisms related to job duties and responsibilities and the organization's needs to ensure continuous improvement in job performance.Perform additional job-related tasks when delegated or directed to an employee.
