**The Opportunity**

The Unified Storage Solution Architect combines deep technical expertise with a keen understanding of how to address the critical business needs of enterprise customers through the use of Nutanix Unified Storage products and solutions, with a strong focus on data services and cloud-native architectures.

The Unified Storage Specialist is a high-impact, high-visibility role.

You will architect Nutanix solutions, help customers design cloud solutions, and showcase the benefits of how the unified storage offerings complement these solutions across modern containerized environments and multi-cloud infrastructures.

**About the Team**

The Unified Storage Solution Architect role will be part of the EMEA Portfolio Solutions team.

This dynamic team is dedicated to driving innovation and customer success by providing advanced storage solutions across emerging markets.

The team fosters a collaborative culture that values open communication, independent work, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

The mission of the Nutanix team is to empower customers with state-of-the-art storage technologies that meet their evolving needs in an increasingly complex landscape.

You will report to the Director of Portfolio Solutions for EMEA, who champions an open and supportive leadership style that encourages team members to take initiative and contribute their insights.

This role requires travel across emerging markets, with a primary focus on the UAE and Saudi Arabia, where several projects are currently active.

**Your Role**

+ Be the key technical leader and influencer in shaping customer decisions to adopt Nutanix technologies for cloud-native and data-intensive workloads.
+ Serving as a specialist and trusted advisor for both the end customers and field sales teams on modern storage architectures, including containerized environments and public cloud integrations.
+ Present, demonstrate, and help execute proof of concepts for Nutanix technologies, and drive customer engagements from early conversations to decision-making evaluations.
+ Design and implement solutions based on Nutanix technologies that integrate seamlessly with Kubernetes environments and public cloud storage services.
+ Provide feedback to sales, marketing, and engineering on current and future product requirements and sales blockers encountered to influence Nutanix's go-to-market strategies.
+ Be a self-starter who can flourish in a dynamic technology company.
+ Stay well ahead of the learning curve in your area of expertise and related business trends, including cloud-native storage patterns and emerging data services.

**What You Will Bring**

+ 10+ years of relevant experience in Software pre-sales and technical sales
+ Thorough understanding of the architecture, design, and implementations of multi-tiered client/server solutions
+ Superior knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN) with emphasis on cloud-native and containerized storage solutions
+ Strong knowledge of SMB, NFS, S3 Protocols and modern data services architectures
+ Deep understanding of storage within Kubernetes environments, including persistent volumes, storage classes, CSI drivers, and StatefulSets
+ Hands-on experience with public cloud storage services, including Amazon S3, EBS, EFS, and Azure Blob Storage, Azure Disk, and Azure Files
+ Proven expertise in cloud-native architectures, microservices storage patterns, and hybrid/multi-cloud data strategies
+ Experience with containerized application storage requirements and data services for modern application development
+ Propose and expertly demonstrate the Nutanix-based solutions using presentations, existing customer or partner solutions, whiteboards, demos, and assisting with pilots, proof-of-concepts, etc.
+ Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-adapting environment, working with cross-functional teams and leveraging company resources to drive sales using a combination of top-down and bottom-up tactics.
+ Must be a strong communicator and presenter with excellent writing skills, with a penchant for organization, constant follow-up, and attention to detail.
+ Experience in design, architecture, and complex deployments across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
+ Thorough understanding of technical sales techniques and processes, including the ability to understand customer needs, overcome objections, assist in the development of business cases and technically close deals.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as excellent presentation skills
