Perform a full spectrum of diagnostic procedures, including gross examinations, microscopic evaluations, and special techniques. Collaborate closely with clinicians across specialties to ensure accurate diagnoses and optimal patient management. Contribute to multidisciplinary teams for tumour boards and case discussions. Stay at the forefront of the field by participating in continuing education and potentially research activities. Make a tangible difference in the lives of patients by providing critical diagnostic information. Responsibilities:
Independently review and interpret a wide range of surgical and cytological specimens. Employ advanced techniques like immunohistochemistry and molecular testing. Communicate clear and concise diagnoses to clinicians effectively. Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to departmental improvement. Maintain high ethical and professional standards. Qualifications:
Board-certified or equivalent in Anatomical Pathology from Europe, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a busy hospital setting. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
