Job Summary
In this role, you will have multiple warehousing facilities, owned and 3PL Fleet and regional network-wide responsibility. Responsible for all physical distribution activities typically including inventory control, warehousing, transportation, fleet operations, and logistics planning as well as Import/Export Logistics. Provides leadership role with Supply Chain peers, local sales force and Customer Service in solving issues & developing programs.

What You Will Do
• Ensures company s Safety standards in Fleet operations and operational excellence standards of Zero-Defect Delivery (ZDD)
• Interfaces with local and regional Supply Chain functions with limited direction.
• Provides leadership role with local sales management, customer service and customers in solving issues and developing programs.
• Partner with Procurement, Regulatory Affairs and Finance functions to optimize Logistics, Fleet and warehousing operations
• Manages international shipping / receiving process, working with Freight forwarders and Brokers to ensure proper documentation is completed to meet all government regulations.
• Communicates & reinforces Logistics plans. Maintains clear communication & close co-operation with Customer Service, Materials Planning, Manufacturing, & major suppliers/vendors. Works with Quality, Planning, Manufacturing, Carriers & Customers to proactively avoid & resolve quality & service issues relating to logistics.
• Coordinates operational redesign projects to improve performance & meet customer needs. Generates & implements innovations for logistical competitive advantage that improve performance. Implements Lean concepts & practices.
• Monitors fixed assets & coordinates implementation of approved CARs. Focus on continuously improving year over year performance against metrics.
Minimum Qualifications
• Degree in Business, Engineering or Transportation plus
• 10+ years of experience in Logistics, Warehousing, Fleet operations and inventory management
• SAP Knowledge
• CSCP or CLTD certification is a plus
