Conduct thorough assessments, utilising clinical expertise and advanced diagnostics like DBS programming and botulinum toxin injections. Design and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, deep brain stimulation (DBS), and other therapies. Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and collaborate on optimal treatment strategies. Actively engage in research activities, potentially leading to publications and presentations. Contribute to educating residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals in movement disorders. Advocate for awareness and understanding of movement disorders within the community. Qualifications:
Board-certified or equivalent in Neurology with subspecialty training in Movement Disorders from Europe, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a busy movement disorders clinic with demonstrably good patient outcomes. Proven expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of movement disorders. Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. A patient-centred approach and commitment to holistic care. Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic language skills are a plus.
